Sygnin is the pseudonym of illustrator Charlene Chua. Charlene is represented by Tracy Marchini at Tracy Marchini Literary.
Charlene also draws Nowhere, a comic that she and her husband work on together.
What IS Sygnin?
I have gone by Sygnin online since 1999 or so. Originally, I wanted to sign up for a Hotmail address with Sigyn (the Norse goddess who is Loki's wife). However the name was already taken. I tried some variations of the spelling, and Sygnin was the first one to be available. It was only much later that I realized people sometimes though it was a way of saying 'sign in'! I pronounce it as 'sig-nin', although as a made up name, I guess anything goes really.
